I’m Shana, and I am truly delighted that you're here…
Glorious Day is a long-held dream coming to life…
It’s an emerging expression of a collective heartbeat,
a renaissance spirit immersed in experiential delight,
in tune with the winds of change
and our ache to rediscover afresh
our truest joys,
creative brilliance,
and sacred stewardship,
across a vast global landscape...
and where I can't help but find myself,
caught up in the all the beauty, energy and possibility!
Much happening, and I am in so many ways hopping, skipping and jumping to keep up - learning new things every day and encountering all kinds of fresh ideas and inspiration, while I also prepare to bring to life a wondrous and delightful flagship space: a beautiful, inspiring, spacious place for Glorious Day to call home, right here in the Pioneer Valley.
Bright blue skies and beautiful opportunities before us, so expect to see much more in the days to come - there is a bigger picture, grand vision for Glorious Day, and I am SO looking forward to seeing it all unfold!
BIG breakthrough news: I’ve found a most glorious space to launch SHOP GLORIOUS DAY - one that I just LOVE, in the Creative/Arts/Innovation District in Holyoke, right in the very heart of the Pioneer Valley.
It’s a wonderful central location from which to be of service and have room to grow, in an enchanting neighborhood I’ve envisioned calling home since I first started exploring possibilities back in the spring of 2017 - dreams really coming true…
I’ve fallen in love with Holyoke - you’ll see why when you come by! A Gateway City on the rise, a perfect place to bring Glorious Day to life… so much more to share - here’s a little peek for now:

Holyoke is near the intersection of the Mass Pike - Rt 90 (which runs east west from “Stockbridge to Boston”) and Rt 91 which runs north through Vermont to Quebec and down to the CT shore, so easy access from anywhere in Western Mass - Hartford, Boston, Albany, and New York City too!
I can’t wait to secure the details and share more, will post updates here and on facebook and bring you into the happenings as soon as I’m able! SO looking forward to finally having a real place to welcome you to, and a home base from which to bring even more possibilities to life!
SHOP GLORIOUS DAY - a groundbreaking flagship shopping experience & creative collective, will finally be making home in Holyoke, MA, and I just can’t wait!
Bringing together inspiring artisans, creatives and curators, we will deliver a wonderfully fresh and delightful shopping experience, with exceptional antique, vintage, gently-loved, artisan, craftsman and upcycled offerings, aesthetically staged for exploration and enjoyment, serving treasure-hunters, homemakers, decorators and designers with a wealth of furnishing, fashion and finds of all kinds!
You’ll so enjoy what we’re gathering together, like the exquisite antique and vintage handwoven rugs from my friends at Kermanshah Gallery in Greenwich Village - just one example! The exquisite beauty and craftsmanship, enduring quality… magic carpets that beautify and last for decades - even generations! A few smaller rugs can be seen in the online shop already, some lovely jewels from their 5th Avenue shop as well - much more to come!
There will be many more wonderful collective contributors, suppliers, partners and collections in our continuously refreshed and remixed offerings, friends want to bring live happenings to the shop too - we’ll have such great fun!
With all that’s happening with shopping online, we want to bring things “back home again,” in many ways - personally meet and share with you up close the experience of enjoying and shopping all the creative offerings, host related events and gatherings too! Our intention is to create a wondrous place that you’ll want to actually visit, again and again, one where you’ll find what you’re looking for, and things you never might have expected!

Our inaugural Glorious Online Auction Sale took place back in March, another taste of what’s to come…
We’re readying to establish a Glorious Day online auction hub and begin to serve the vast demand to rehome/resell/reuse/restore, opening up access to a wealth of furnishings and treasure right within our local communities. Households that are moving, downsizing and clearing out excess, as well as estate sales and storage, represent a near endless supply to recirculate, with many benefits of selling from right on site - minimizing transport, with safe, seamless transactions and supervised pickups.
The online sale in March was a beta test of sorts, preparing us this kind of online auction exchange. It ran for 9 days, one of the featured listings a large 41x63 piece, “Evening in Verona” by Russian Artist Viktor Shvaiko - a signed, numbered, hand-enhanced deluxe serigraph on canvas, in an elegant frame, with certificate of authenticity. The winning bidder drove 2 hours to pick it up - had been looking for the perfect piece for a place in his home and was very pleased!
I hosted a LIVE Auction Sale Preview Chat, “A Few of My Favorite Things” on facebook too, also covered all the auction closing action live there as well. This sale was held in partnership with Maxsold, and they interviewed me online for their Professional Partner video series while the auction was live: something else that was new for me - yet another groundbreaking experience!

I was delighted to have bidders engage with 98% of the 150+ listings - some of which are pictured below. Nearly 40% went into extended time in the closing minutes - that fun tug-of-war zone that so often fires up in the final moments! This initial foray into auctions was a great learning adventure, and wonderful to see such a diverse collection successfully “rehomed” within just a few short weeks, start to finish!
The pickup event felt like #ChristmasInTheAir and was a bit of a wild and wonderful whirlwind, with everything claimed and cleared out within a 4 hour window (another wonder!) - this too was great fun! So many pleased treasure-hunters, homemakers, estate shoppers, resellers, neighbors, kindred spirits… looking forward to more!

I enjoy them so much, I went to auctioneer school and toward becoming an officially licensed Auctioneer - preparation to host some gloriously fun, entirely LIVE (and live online!) auction events right here in Western Mass… perhaps beyond!

GLORIOUS DAY at BRIMFIELD
Did we first meet on the field at The Brimfield Antiques Fair - the wondrous, world-renowned, brimming-with-treasures market right in my backyard here in Western Massachusetts? Is it a special playground that you cherish and adore too?
Great fun, so much to see, endless inspiration, and so many dear friends - a Glorious Day at Brimfield, always!
